He has started businesses, bought out a partner, grown a family-owned company, and ultimately sold that business himself. That lived experience gives him a practical understanding of the financial, operational, and personal decisions business owners face during a transaction.
After purchasing his family’s business, Bond Pickle Company, John helped grow sales from $3 million to $10 million and played a role in developing the industry-leading banana pepper ring. Selling that third-generation family business became one of the most defining moments of his career.
Today, John helps clients navigate the sale and purchase of businesses with honesty, perspective, and clarity. He is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a Wisconsin licensed real estate broker, and a member of the International Business Brokers Association, M&A Source, and the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries.

Kiely joined Kelly Business Advisors in 2018 and moved into advisory work after beginning as John’s executive assistant. She earned her Wisconsin Real Estate Salesperson’s license in 2020. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.
As an advisor she plays a key role across valuations, marketing, buyer outreach, due diligence coordination, and transaction management. Clients value her professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to bring structure and calm to the process.
George Metos
Transaction AdvisorGeorge Metos has been brokering businesses since 2010, with a strong focus on industrial companies, automotive towing, and auto recycling businesses. He brings curiosity, analytical rigor, and respect to every engagement.
George believes an honest, objective assessment of value is the foundation of a successful transaction. By helping owners understand what their business is truly worth, he gives them the clarity to decide whether selling aligns with their goals. From there, he works relentlessly to find the right buyer and negotiate a structure that supports long-term success.
Before entering business brokerage, George earned degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and spent more than 20 years in software development. He built and led an organization of more than 140 technical and creative professionals, and later experienced M&A firsthand when that company merged with a public company.
His blend of technical depth, operating experience, and transaction knowledge makes him especially valuable in asset-heavy and operationally complex industries.
